London, 10 July 2018 – Style Analytics, the provider of factor-based analysis software for investment professionals, announces the appointment of Sylvia Kwok as Chief Marketing Officer, and Richard Son as Head of Sales Operations, in a push to both strengthen the management team and continue to grow the business on a global basis.
Sylvia joined the Style Analytics management team in February and is based in London. With over 15 years’ marketing experience in financial services covering both the buy and sell side, Sylvia most recently worked at SimCorp, Markit and Vermillion Software (now a FactSet Company) to streamline their marketing to sales workflow and increase the sales performance of these firms. Prior to this, Sylvia worked at FTSE Group and Man Investments Australia.
Richard joined the London office of Style Analytics in March and is responsible for sales operations. Working most recently at Finastra, originally Sophis UK before it was acquired by Mysis, Richard was their Sales Operations Officer of the Investment Management division. He was responsible for improving the sales operation and global service deliveries, as well as overseeing a number of large implementation projects. At Mysis, Richard also previously held the position of Programme Manager for the Global and Strategic Accounts’ team.
Style Analytics, with its products and services designed to help institutional investors and investment managers determine which factor exposures are impacting portfolio risk and performance, have won a record number of clients in the first quarter of 2018. The growth in popularity of factor investing can be seen in the amount of total recent client acquisitions, including seven in North America, two in the Asia Pacific region, and three in Europe.
